We are building momentum across the board — in tour sound, cinema, and post-production and installed sound. Since NAMM has expanded its scope well beyond musical instruments, it has become an ideal trade show for connecting us with all those markets.”

Meyer Sound has announced an expanded presence at the 2023 NAMM Show in Anaheim, CA, bringing additional personnel and resources to showcase products and technologies for the touring, recording/post-production, and immersive audio markets.
This year’s NAMM Show is scheduled as a one-time-only springtime event, with exhibits from April 13–15. Meyer Sound can be found on the show floor at exhibit space #17215 (ACC North Level 2).
“Meyer Sound is coming off a record-setting year in 2022, and we will be working hard to continue that success in the coming months,” says Senior Vice President John McMahon. “We are building momentum across the board — in tour sound, cinema, and post-production and installed sound. Since NAMM has expanded its scope well beyond musical instruments, it has become an ideal trade show for connecting us with all those markets.”
A highlight of the demo room will be an immersive sound system controlled by the Spacemap Go spatial sound design and mixing tool. Featured products will be the new Milan-certified ULTRA‑X20 loudspeaker and USW‑112P subwoofer, the first point-source loudspeaker and subwoofer to incorporate a Milan AVB network endpoint in the loudspeaker cabinet. Also on hand in the demo room will be the ULTRA‑X40 compact loudspeaker as well as the LINA very compact linear line array loudspeaker, the LEOPARD compact linear line array loudspeaker, and the 900‑LFC compact low-frequency control element.
Demo sessions will be held during the even hours from 10 AM to 4 PM on Thursday and Friday, and from 10 AM to 2 PM on Friday.
Both the PANTHER large-format linear line array loudspeaker and the new companion 2100‑LFC low-frequency control element will be on display where visitors can examine visually and have a go at a paired lift of PANTHER to experience its remarkably low weight.
Once again, the Meyer Sound exhibit space will revolve around the ever-popular Tech Bar. Meyer Sound sales and tech support staff will be available to walk visitors through the new Nebra software platform for monitoring and connectivity, with the auditory results reproduced on Amie studio monitors bolstered by an Amie‑Sub subwoofer.
This year Meyer Sound returns as a Gold Sponsor of the TEC Awards, with ceremonies scheduled for the evening of April 13 in the Level 3 Ballroom of the Anaheim Convention Center. The PANTHER large-format linear line array loudspeaker has been nominated for a TEC Award in the category of Sound Reinforcement Loudspeakers.
Meyer Sound also is a Gold Sponsor of the Parnelli Awards, to be held the following evening at the same location. Major Tom, Ltd., the first rental company to deploy a PANTHER system and a significant contributor to the design concept, is a nominee in the category of Sound Company of the Year.
