Integrated Sound System Connectivity and Monitoring Tools
Bringing Tasks to a Unified Workspace
Nebra is a free Mac and Windows-based software platform that gives users a standard workspace capable of hosting multiple tools used with Meyer Sound products. This fast, intuitive software provides the ability to monitor Meyer Sound networked systems as well as make and manage connections in Milan AVB networks in both portable and installed applications.
An All-Inclusive Solution
Nebra monitors all available data points from all connected devices. It operates as a standalone solution for Milan-based devices, and for Meyer Sound loudspeakers using RMS technology, Nebra functions in parallel with Compass software and the RMServer hardware. Nebra seamlessly integrates with Meyer Sound’s Galileo GALAXY Network Platform as well as third-party Milan-certified endpoints and AVNU Certified AVB network switches and bridges.
System Status, Visualized and Verified
Unlike typical text-based network-management applications, Nebra features an icon-based, graphic display that lets users view all Milan connections and status of individual devices in one place. Touring engineers can quickly reconfigure systems for each venue, while installed sound users have a clear, intuitive system-monitoring workspace that can be operated with minimal training.
Intuitive Drag-and-Drop Workflows
Nebra’s clean, uncluttered workspace provides tool-specific controls for devices and settings. From the Connection Manager, quickly make digital connections using a drag-and-drop interface. Connections can be saved as snapshots and recalled offline. From the Device Manager, access information about connected equipment and manage firmware, devices, naming, and equipment status.
Click on any device to view its properties, including telemetry data; icons show device status and change color to indicate points of failure. Critical system alerts appear as banners everywhere in the system. A prominent “traffic light” icon always indicates whether the system is performing as expected. It’s never been easier to monitor complex networked systems with confidence.
The Building Blocks of Innovation
The Power of Sensor FusionNebra uses sensor fusion technology to manage and display multiple information sources in one platform. Sensor fusion technology overcomes the limitations of individual sensors by combining data from multiple sensors to produce more robust, actionable information with less uncertainty. There’s no need to display hundreds of data points; instead, a simple icon indicates system status at a glance. | Engineered for EvolutionNebra is conceived as a comprehensive platform. It’s built to grow over time, introducing new toolsets as it evolves. To ensure future-proof technology, we’ve taken an ultra-modern approach to software development, applying contemporary coding processes to ensure Nebra remains current and adaptable as it expands. | Why Nebra? The name Nebra comes from the Nebra Sky Disk, a Bronze Age artifact considered one of the world’s earliest known maps of the stars. Nebra software will ultimately become the first reference point for Meyer Sound users. Just like the Nebra Sky Disk, it offers a central view of vast, complex systems. | An Expanding Nebra FamilyNebra currently enables comprehensive connectivity and monitoring functions for Meyer Sound PANTHER loudspeakers, the GALAXY network platform, Milan-certified AVB switches and other Milan-certified devices. Additional Meyer Sound loudspeakers will be available as Milan endpoint devices. |
