We feel that PANTHER and the 2100-LFC are real game changers for our touring division and our clients, with its lighter and more compact form factor delivering the fidelity and, when needed, the brute force horsepower our clients have come to expect from Spider deployed systems.”

It’s been a big year for one of the newest dealers in the Meyer Sound family, Spider Ranch Productions. The company moved their headquarters from California to Ocala, FL, bringing along a PANTHER large-format linear line array loudspeaker system. The new system also includes 2100‑LFC low-frequency control elements and a full range of other Meyer Sound gear to provide to their customers in the AV integration markets as a Meyer Sound installation partner and dealer in Florida and the southeast. While the PANTHER system is Spider Ranch’s biggest Meyer Sound purchase for its rental inventory, owner Alex Moran said the contracting side of his company had previously provided Meyer Sound gear to some installation customers. Moran added that he has always respected the quality and innovation that John Meyer and Meyer Sound have brought to the industry and noted that the timing was finally right to bring a Meyer Sound rental system to Spider Ranch as the company made its big move to Florida.
“We feel that PANTHER and the 2100-LFC are real game changers for our touring division and our clients, with its lighter and more compact form factor delivering the fidelity and, when needed, the brute force horsepower our clients have come to expect from Spider deployed systems,” Moran said.
Touring acts embracing PANTHER include Metallica, Ed Sheeran and Billy Strings, and all have reaped savings on truck pack space and overall weight without jeopardizing the quality of the listening experience for live concert attendees.
