As part of Meyer Sound’s ongoing webinar education program, Friday, May 15 President & CEO John Meyer will present “From Apocalypse Now to Bluehorn” at 9 AM PST. The one-hour special presentation traces Meyer Sound’s innovative development path in the world of cinema, post-production and residential from the company’s early days collaborating with Francis Ford Coppola to today’s Bluehorn System, a breakthrough in full bandwidth, phase accurate monitoring. The training content offers a natural progression of subject matter, providing attendees both practical knowledge for honing skills as well as case studies for reference. The instructors review specialty tools that cover a diverse set of solutions across all industry verticals. The education team also welcomes attendees to choose from an à la carte menu to create every other Friday “On Demand” programming via a weekly poll through the Meyer Sound Users Community Facebook group.
The webinars are organized by weekly content chapters and kicked off with the Meyer Sound Precision Toolset and introduction to MAPP XT, introduction to Compass control software and ULTRA Series, intermediate Compass and IntelligentDC technology, and advanced Compass and digital steerable CAL column loudspeakers rounded out the first month.
The team will continue the established format of Monday, Wednesday and Friday sessions in English while Tuesday and Thursday sessions will be in Spanish.
