On August 26, Polish artist Dawid Podsiadło performed at the Kazimierz Gorski National Stadium in Warsaw, Poland. It was the first 360-degree concert performed by a Polish artist ever, and it was fully amplified on a Meyer Sound system. The production deployed an impressive selection of loudspeakers: 200 PANTHER large-format linear line array loudspeakers, 120 LEOPARD compact linear line array loudspeakers, 40 1100-LFC low-frequency control elements, as well as 8 sets of ULTRA‑X20 and ULTRA‑X40 compact loudspeakers. 15 Galileo GALAXY 816 and 7 Galileo GALAXY 408 Network Platforms were used to connect the system, which was one of the largest productions at this stadium ever!
80,000 fans attended the concert and enjoyed the outstanding sound. This stadium is made out of concrete and glass, which generates a huge reverberation time, making it really hard and almost impossible to effectively control the sound.
Responsible for the realization was The Brawlers company, led by Remigiusz Kasztelnik, who was also in charge of the Open’er Festival and Pol’and’Rock Festival earlier this year. Together with Kamil Zadjel, he designed the sound for the stadium which led to great sound for everybody in the auditorium. East Events agency was responsible for the concert organization and the production was led by Michal Falat.
