NADIA

The Newest Star in the Constellation Family

Network-Powered Processing

NADIA is a powerful network-based digital audio processing and distribution platform for Constellation acoustic system by Meyer Sound. Optimized around the needs of venues of all genres and styles, NADIA brings new levels of performance to Constellation systems while streamlining costs, equipment needs, and energy consumption.

Spatial Audio Synergy

NADIA pairs perfectly with Meyer Sound’s Spacemap Go spatial sound design tool, bringing new versatility to venues by offering the ability to support performances with stunningly natural active acoustics, multi-channel spatial audio, or both. With NADIA, Constellation systems can provide more discrete zones at a lower cost for even greater acoustical realism and room adaptability.

Seamless System Integration

NADIA supports OSC and MILAN open protocols for easy interfacing with a range of devices — including Meyer Sound Galileo GALAXY 816 and 408 processors and compatible mixing consoles, computers, and format converters — using standard network infrastructure.

Twice the Processing Power—And Paths

Creating natural-sounding acoustic environments requires a large number of processing channels across multiple acoustical zones. This calls for specific system design, channel count, DSP, control, and timing requirements. NADIA features two processing paths: one dedicated to Constellation active acoustics, the other dedicated to requirements for amplified audio systems. Dedicated processing for amplified audio includes a double-matrix signal flow, increasing the power of spatial audio while simplifying the deployment of multi-channel audio systems.

No-Compromise Creativity

NADIA’s matrix signal flow features an input matrix — addressed by Spacemap Go for easy, intuitive spatial audio design — and a separate output matrix that gives users new levels of granularity and control. It’s a new, no-compromise approach to combining the creativity of spatial audio and the optimization of multi-channel audio systems.

Proven Performance

Leveraging experience gained in hundreds of Constellation installations around the world, NADIA’s architecture is designed with reliability and redundancy in mind, featuring redundant digital signal paths and reserve processor units with automatic failover operation.

Scalable Solutions

All NADIA-based systems require at least one NADIA-CP core processor, capable of processing and routing up to 224 inputs to 128 outputs at 96 kHz/64-bit floating-point resolution; add 128 system outputs with each additional module. All communication to and from the NADIA-CP module is via the Milan AVB network. The NADIA-AI12 module provides 12 channels of analog inputs with a preamp on each channel to accommodate Constellation microphones; the NADIA-AO16 provides 16 channels of analog line-level output. Standard and lite licenses are available, depending on how many VRAS processors are required.

A Legacy of Acoustic Expertise

NADIA takes advantage of four decades of Meyer Sound system processing innovation, incorporating industry-leading tools like VRAS acoustic algorithms, CueStation 8 control software, and Spacemap Go that are at the heart of exceptional audience experiences in the world’s greatest performance venues.
