A Meyer Sound system featuring LEOPARD compact linear line array loudspeakers and LYON linear line array loudspeakers powered the 2023 Nitto ATP Finals in Turin, Italy, in November, providing quality audio as the very best in men’s tennis took the court. The system was provided by Fox Sound Service via MAC Sound Audio, Meyer Sound’s Italian distributor.

“The system composed of LEOPARD, LYON, and 1100‑LFC performed very well, guaranteeing the necessary intelligibility throughout the arena and the volume and frequency response for the involvement of a very warm audience,” said Carlo Volpe, owner of Fox Sound.

Along with 96 LEOPARD and 48 LYON loudspeakers, the system included 24 1100-LFC low-frequency control elements, 24 LINA very compact linear line array loudspeakers, four ULTRA‑X40 compact loudspeakers, six 750‑LFC very compact low-frequency control elements, and 11 Galileo GALAXY 816 Network Platforms.

“The GALAXY processors were connected with the AVB Milan audio protocol, which made the quality of transport to the various clusters of the highest level,” said ATP Technical Director Marco Galizia. “The excellent sound response and coverage of the audio system gave sonic emotions to the players and the public, especially during the players’ entrances. The audience was able to savor the definition of the live instruments as well as the voice of the narrator.”
