Dubai's TechnoPro is Determined to Lead the Region's Audio Industry with Meyer Sound Equipment

"Here we have the world's only seven-star hotel, the only underwater hotel, the tallest tower in the world... Our clients expect and deserve the best of everything, and we are committed to providing it. For audio, that means Meyer Sound."

- Nabil Bourgeili
Founder and Managing Director, TechnoPro

Dubai is a soaring metropolis that has become a hub of entertainment, tourism, finance and real estate. The United Arab Emirates city also features some of the world's wildest architectural projects that most deemed impossible. In this new land of opportunity, sound company TechnoPro is determined to lead the region's audio industry by providing the highest quality service and equipment. Its large purchase of a Meyer Sound MILO line array loudspeaker system for the 12,000 fans at Celine Dion's concert is just a beginning.

"Dubai is a city where the sky is the limit," notes TechnoPro Founder and Managing Director Nabil Bourgeili. "Here we have the world's only seven-star hotel, the only underwater hotel, the tallest tower in the world... Our clients expect and deserve the best of everything, and we are committed to providing it. For audio, that means Meyer Sound."

Established in 2001, TechnoPro boasts 60 staff members trained to handle everything from design and installation to project management. The company provides a full range of event production services, including sound, lights, video, lasers and staging.

Using Meyer Sound equipment in a large production like Celine's concert allowed the TechnoPro crew to see the advantages to the self-powered system immediately. Its convenience and reliability along with the QuickFly rigging system ensured that everything went smoothly.

"My crew said, 'Finally, we have what we need,'" Bourgeili reports. "The entire system was loaded in, rigged and connected in only five hours. The sound, of course, was excellent. We got a lot of thank-yous from Celine's crew. They were completely satisfied."

TechnoPro now owns Meyer Sound MILO and M'elodie line array loudspeakers, 700-HP subwoofers, UPJunior and UPJ-1P VariO loudspeakers, MSL-4 loudspeakers, USM-100P and MJF-212A stage monitors and a Galileo loudspeaker management system. Besides using superior products, Bourgeili believes a high skill level among its staff is also essential for the company's sustained growth. TechnoPro's engineers have therefore embarked on a series of Meyer Sound educational seminars, with an emphasis on using MAPP Online Pro acoustical prediction program for system design.

"To have great tools and technology is only a start. You must know how to use them," Bourgeili stresses. "Meyer Sound provides both. Its products are powerful, and also very elegant and well made. That is why we are planning to add more to our stock and use them for the diverse range of events that we support."

With Meyer Sound products, TechnoPro will be providing audio services to various live sound and corporate events in upcoming months, including the Medicine in Motor Sport seminar in Bahrain and an event prior to the FIA Formula One Grand Prix race using UPJuniors and UPJ-1Ps. At the Madinat Jumeirah luxury hotel in Dubai, M'elodies will be deployed to announce the launch of Madain, a new development project on the city's famed Palm Island.
