UPQ-1P
Wide Coverage Loudspeaker
Meyer Sound will demo the new UPQ-1P wide coverage loudspeaker at 2PM, 3PM and 4PM on Thursday June 19 in Ballroom III at the nearby Renaissance Hotel. A new high-powered addition to the award-winning UltraSeries products, the UPQ-1P incorporates a 15-inch neodymium magnet low frequency driver, a four-inch diaphragm compression driver coupled to an 80-degree by 50-degree constant directivity horn, and 1,275 watts of peak amplifier power. With its integral pole mount receptacle and flexible rigging options, the UPQ-1P easily adapts to permanent theater and nightclub installations as well as portable AV systems.

The self-powered MM-4XP miniature loudspeaker is another product that will surely impress visitors. With its extremely compact dimensions (the faceplate is 4-inches square), the MM-4XP is easy to conceal yet it delivers a peak SPL of 113 dB. Custom color versions will be shown.

Other products on display include M'elodie and M1D line array loudspeakers and the M1D-Sub subwoofer. UPJunior VariO loudspeaker, CQ-1, UPM-1P and UPA-1P loudspeakers will also be shown. Many of these products will be heard in all four rooms of the popular Large Venue Display Gallery at the show.

Galileo 616 AES
Loudspeaker Management System
The Meyer Sound booth has assigned a dedicated area for visitors to gain hands-on experience with the latest signal analysis and prediction products, and have conversations with the company's audio experts. The company's famed emphasis on customer service now offers 24-hour worldwide technical support. Understanding the pressure audio professionals could face in a live sound environment, Meyer Sound is ready to lend expert support whenever it is needed.

Making its show debut is the Galileo 616 AES, a new version of the processor for the Galileo loudspeaker management system. Galileo 616 AES introduces new digital outputs and provides improved flexibility in system design. Eliminating the need for another set of converters, the new processor can drive additional Galileo processors via their AES/EBU inputs through a digital connection between the units. Visitors can also preview Galileo's Compass 2.1 control software slated for release late summer. Compass 2.1 features easy-to-use tabbed interface and better linking capabilities.

Matrix3
Audio Show Control System
The powerful Matrix3 audio show control system will be available with SpaceMap multichannel surround panning and Wild Tracks hard disk playback. Matrix3 is handling some of the most complex audio cues in the best known attractions in Las Vegas, including Wynn Las Vegas's Lake of Dreams spectacle, Fremont Street Experience, as well as Cirque du Soleil®; productions such as The Beatles® LOVE, KÀ™, ZUMANITY™ and others.

Other premier showrooms and themed spectacles on the Las Vegas Strip depend on Meyer Sound systems to deliver memorable entertainment experiences to the audience. Notable examples include Phantom – The Las Vegas Spectacular at the Venetian, Le Rêve Aqua Theatre, and the extravagant Colosseum at Caesars Palace, featuring a diverse list of artists including Bette Midler, Cher, Elton John and Jerry Seinfeld.
