"MILO's power and tight focus is a great complement to M3D. And there's a consistency between MICA and MILO that allows for a nice smooth transition when you move from the main array to the side fills. The system is very musical and delivers excellent intelligibility. Honestly, who could ask for more?"

Founder, Canegreen

Multi-platinum rapper Kanye West performed on his "Glow in the Dark" tour this fall, making stops in cities including London, Belfast, Dublin and Manchester. London-based Canegreen once again supported West with an extensive system of Meyer Sound M3D line array loudspeakers, MILO high-power curvilinear array loudspeakers and MICA compact curvilinear array loudspeakers. Bryon "Hotdog" Tate was FOH engineer.

"Hotdog really likes the M3D, and specifically requested it for this tour," says Canegreen founder Yan Stile. "He's a big fan of its extended bass response."

The main system was comprised of twin arrays of 12 M3D line array loudspeakers per side, in addition to two arrays of two MILO high-power curvilinear array loudspeakers and two more MILO 120 high-power expanded coverage curvilinear array loudspeakers. Eight MSL-4 horn-loaded long-throw loudspeakers covered front fill, and 18 700-HP ultrahigh-power subwoofers provided a generous low end. System drive and processing was courtesy of a pair of Galileo 616 loudspeaker management processors.

Two sidefill arrays covered the outer seats, each utilizing four MICA compact high-power curvilinear array loudspeakers, a pair of 600-HP compact high-power subwoofers and one PSW-2 high-power flyable subwoofer. On stage, 18 MJF-212A high-power stage monitors cover the performers. Tate mixed the shows on Digidesign Venue console, also supplied by Canegreen.

Stile is especially pleased with how well the MILO family loudspeakers integrate as one system. "MILO's power and tight focus is a great complement to M3D," explains Stile. "And there's a consistency between MICA and MILO that allows for a nice smooth transition when you move from the main array to the side fills. The system is very musical and delivers excellent intelligibility. Honestly, who could ask for more?"
