At the '99 WE Fest held at Soo Pass Ranch in Minnesota, more than 70,000 country music fans showed up to catch a glimpse of such illustrious artists as Dwight Yokam, Lonestar, Sawyer Brown, Buck Owens, The Kinleys, Wynonna and Jo Dee Messina.

Providing the pro-audio equipment over the course of the three-day Festival, August 6 - 8, was Blackhawk Audio, Inc. out of Tennessee, who supplied a host of Meyer Sound equipment. Included in their configuration were 8 MSL-6, 12 DS-4P, 24 650-P, 39 MSL-4, and 20 UM-1P.
