On Friday, October 15, Meyer Sound Germany hosted a party at the Brauereihof Aspich (microbrewerey) for 400 guests to highlight the UPM-1P and new UMS-1P self-powered loudspeaker systems. Performing for the evening's sizable crowd was legendary Fusion percussionist, Billy Cobham. Cobham is best known for his corroboration on several of Miles Davis' albums, including Live-Evil and Jack Johnson, as well as for his work with the group Spectrum. In attendance for the festivities were Meyer Sound Germany's dealers and distributors, as well as a gathering of theatre sound professionals, vendors, members of the press and other friends of Meyer Sound Germany. Powering the evening's performance was a permanently installed Meyer Sound system comprised of 2 MTS-4's and 2 PSW-4's. Brauereihof Aspich - www.hof-aspich.de
